All data is replicated in real-time to the “RDS-DB <client_name>” database in the Prod Environment, effectively providing automated backups. Each production database is backed-up respectively on its own separate RDS-DB. (see architecture diagram for ref.) For a catastrophic AWS event that simultaneously brings down all named servers, the database for each client can be restored from the replicated server at the last back-up point.
